All that Glisters...

Addit 2023: I've now shifted all this related material to its own dedicated blog: All that Glisters... (AtGwhere it can have its own space and I can continue to develop whenever I feel fit, so as to not distract from the main theme here which (surprisingly) emerged as Twilight: 2000

So a large proportion of the early months of this blog was is concerned with the now-defunct TSR UK 1E module from the early 80's UK6 All that Glitters... because it's a favorite of mine and despite it's flaws, has the makings of a decent module in my opinion as outlined in my review or on DriveThruRPG here.

This page then is a remnant to guide anyone that is looking for this material. I am grouping the material about this module into two main categories (noted by labels / tags or whatever), based on the intent behind each post.

The first category which is the majority of the posts I'm going to simply refer to as "AtG", except that the TLA stands for "All that Glisters..." (in homage to the correct original quote) to denote that it's a (hopefully) *improved* version of the original using the 1E / OSRIC based ruleset...

"All that Glisters..." Posts

  • UK6 Overall
    • Where in the Oerth is UK6 All that Glitters... ?
    • Tikul's Expedition - Fated to Fail?
    • Fix this Dish Part 1 - Maps
    • Fix this Dish Part 2 - Encounters
  • The Indicara Jungle
    • Tikul's Return through the Jungle
    • Run Through the Jungle
    • Crossranting - Fire in the Jungle
  • The Ash Mire
    • Crossranting - the Hek
  • The Temple of Aumata-Perion
    • Random Encounters in the Temple

The second category of UK6 material I'm going to refer to as "Return to the Wind Walker's Passages" or "RttWWP" for short as a label and will be a lot of the new material at the shifted location.

This material takes the form of a "revisit" like the "TSR Silver Anniversary" modules titled "Return to the <insert name of classic module>". These articles will also use the base ruleset as above, with comments for LotFP and 5E as appropriate, but will assume the original module has been played through and that the setting material has shifted later in time to allow for updates and changes.

I'll create a separate RttWWP list to link these later time period posts together ultimately.
